Taylor eLearning Days
Kokomo Area Special Education Cooperative is hosting a meeting for Non-Public School Administrators and Parents/Guardians of Students with Disabilities who attend non-public schools, including those who are home schooled, for the following school districts:  Eastern, Maconaquah, Northwestern, Taylor, Tipton, Tri-Central and Western.

This meeting will be held on November 11 2019 at 9:00 am in the Western School Corporation Board Room, Door 8, 2600 South 600 West, Russiaville, IN 46979.

Taylor High School student delegates to Hoosier State have been selected.  They will spend a week in June at Trine University in Angola, where they will study Indiana government.  Besides seminars, they will participate in rallies and elections, learning hands-on..

*Weight training for football is canceled today.

*Attention juniors and seniors who did not pass spring ELA ISTEP: You will be retesting on the morning of December 12th and December 13th. Reminders will be passed out to these students. If you are a morning KACC student, please DO NOT report to KACC. Your absence will be excused. Go directly to the media center for testing beginning at 7:50 both days.

*PVE class will be selling “Christmas Crunch” for $2.25 on Popcorn Fridays during lunch for the month of December.

Student Information and Activities

*The cheerleaders are selling “We Care” hearts to help raise money for the annual “We Care” Christmas event held in Kokomo each year. Hearts are $1 and will be displayed on the clock tower in the activity entrance foyer. Please see a cheerleader or Mrs. Hillman to purchase your heart today!

*Feeling stressed? SADD is sponsoring Stress Free Days in the Media Center beginning next Monday during lunch. You may play games, watch a movie or just relax. There are limited spaces available. Each class will have a designated day. See Mrs. Carr in the Media Center to sign up for your ticket, which will include a drink and a snack.

*KACC Open House is December 12th 6-7:30 pm this year.

*Anyone interested in playing football next year: please stop by room 110 and talk to Mr. Kennedy. He has complete training calendars and practice schedules through next year available.

*The high school football staff is happy to announce the creation of an Ultimate Football league beginning in January. This is open to all male students in grades 8-11. Look for flyers to be put up soon. Mr. Kennedy has sign-up sheets and flyers available in room 110.
